Learning Objectives/Outcomes
- Learn to develop individualized client program plans for The Listening Program® (TLP) utilizing the unique, patent pending, ABC Modular Design™.
- Gain a practical understanding of the structure and function of the auditory system and the role TLP can play in improving learning and behavior.
- Understand the music recording and psychoacoustic production technologies that stimulate primary and non primary auditory pathways.
- Become an Authorized Provider of The Listening Program and qualify to begin Provider certification.
- Put The Listening Program immediately into practice.
Target Audience TLP Provider Training is introductory level.
A qualified professional with a minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a health, therapeutic, education or music field may train. Certain exceptions are made on an individual basis for those who can demonstrate equivalent experience.
TLP Provider Training,
2 Day Course
This course presents the information you need to begin
offering The Listening Program (TLP) to your clients
of all ages and abilities.
An introduction to the physiology and psychology of
listening will be offered and integrated with discussions
on auditory processing. The historical development and
theoretical basis of the TLP method will be presented
along with new advancements designed to improve sensory
processing.
Comprehensive training in the NEW TLP Level One program
featuring High Definition music, Spatial Surround and
refined frequency zone training will be provided along
with an organized structure for identifying client needs
and developing individualized listening plans.
The psychoacoustically modified music of The Listening
Program will be explained and video case examples will
be presented with group program planning sessions to
help participants integrate the course curriculum.
Course attendance will prepare you to immediately integrate
The Listening Program into your practice and qualify
you to purchase TLP and other materials for client implementation
in homes, schools, clinics and hospitals.

TLP Provider Training, 3 Day Course
This 3 Day Course expands on the 2 Day curriculum
with a more comprehensive review of TLP, clinical reasoning
skills, program planning and the introduction to the
benefits of bone conducted auditory stimulation.
Hosted at the ABT Training Center in Ogden, Utah, this
small group setting encourages a more dynamic and interactive
learning environment under the facilitation of TLP developer
and ABT founder, G. Alexander Doman.

TLP Distance Training
This self-paced, hands-on course includes your personal
listening program experience, program planning consultations
with three clients, preparation of a case study, and
coaching from your TLP Provider Mentor. Please contact
